This event will be dedicated to one of Japanese most interesting kinds of tea: Gyokuro. This kind of tea only makes of 0,3% of the entire production of Japanese green tea. Directly translated as „noble dewdrop“, it is not an every day beverage, but a drink prepared on special occasions. Being a fully shaded and steamed tea, it boasts a wonderful Umami.
We will taste Marukyu Koyamaen Tsubokiri Gyokuro, Marukyu Koyamaen Mecha Gyokusen, Horii Shichimeien Gyokuro Meigyoku – all from Uji Japan & Kirishima Tennen Gyokuro from Kyushu, Japan.
Together we will explore different extraction methods such as cold brew and Koridashi (ice brew) and experience the wide range of tastes, that can be achieved.
