This tasting is dedicated to the enchanting world of flowers in tea: both as natural infusions and through the traditional art of tea scenting, as practiced in Taiwan and China.
Together, we’ll explore and taste a selection of exquisite floral teas: Chrysanthemum from Kunlun, China, Osmanthus Flowers from Hangzhou — among the most fragrant of all blossoms and SanXia Yuzu Flower Scented Black Tea by Deerland Tea — one of our all-time favourite black teas.
We’ll also enjoy a delicate pairing of lavender from our garden with Sencha, and share a simple method to capture the subtle aroma of flowers in your own tea creations.
