Marukyu Koyamaen Shin Matcha 2026 „Hatsu Enishi“

Attention: this tea is one of the best of Maruyku Koyamaen’s offerings and an absolute favourite of our team, we strongly advise to NOT use this for Matcha Latte, to not ruin it’s delicate aroma. Instead use it for Koicha or Usucha.

A lovely Matcha, tea laves of the first harvest 2026 were immediately processed into this amazing Matcha. Only available for a short period of time!

„A mellow, light, creamy-textured matcha with an amazingly fresh, bright fragrance and an incredibly long, full-bodied, and creamy finish with tender, green flavors. This tea can be prepared with slightly lower temperature water (70 ºC), resulting in a sweeter and creamier flavor. It it is advised be consumed as a thicker (“koicha”) tea, resulting in a more full-bodied tea with a more intense flavor and an even longer aftertaste.“
